Radio Frequencies and other RC Etiquette

When you go to the local track the general rule is that unless your using DSM you need to speak to everyone else at the track and confirm that your not using someone's frequency. This is also know as hijacking and is considered very bad form. The major problem is that when you hijack someone's frequency the car will not be under your control, or that of the owner, with conflicting signals the cars seem to want to destroy them selves.

The first thing they will do is head at full speed to the hardest and most dangerous obstacle they can find. It's not such a problem with drift cars or stock electric RC cars, but with Nitro powered RC it's a bit problem when one of these goes AWOL.

Always be polite and respectful to the other racers on the track, don't drive like a maniac, if you are having setup woes or are a beginner try your best to stay out of everyone's way, if they come up behind you let them pass my pulling over, off of the racing line and backing off throttle gently, once they pass you can continue.
